ABOUT THE ROLE

As our new dynamic Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating exciting projects, from concept to delivery, across the Business contributing to Fenix Outdoor’s growth, digitalization and focus on continuous improvement. Whether it is the implementation of a new system or a wider transformation project, your pragmatic and positive approach will allow you to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders as well as bring structure and guidance to complex situations.

This position is a full-time opportunity that will be based in Fenix Outdoor’s Solna office in Stockholm. The role will report directly through to the Head of Delivery.  

WHAT YOU WILL DO

In more detail you will:

• Drive projects towards value realization and don’t stop when a solution is delivered. By understanding business drivers and the technology vision, you also contribute to the portfolio of initiatives.
• Ensure proper execution of processes and plans for agile project delivery through the different phases (e.g., requirements, agile development, user validation & testing, deployment, user adoption).
• Oversee the entire picture across the organization and manage digital projects towards successful delivery (resources, budget, planning, milestones, dependencies, risks, etc.).
• Develop business cases, assess technical feasibility, create resource plans, define objectives, and track key results.
• Break down barriers by liaising between ‘Business’ and ‘Tech’, and across different teams in the organization. You co-create the best possible end-to-end plans and ensure execution of those plans in close collaboration.
• Set up and drive smooth governance processes and boards for the initiatives and make sure stakeholders are managed accordingly. Also, you drive proper decision-making within the constraints in the team, driving speed and quality.
• Support further modeling and improving our delivery organization, applying your experience, knowledge, and eye for improvement in processes and ways of working.

WHO YOU ARE

We think you could be a great match for this position if you possess the following traits and capabilities:

• You have a proven track record and minimum of five years’ experience in successfully managing projects, preferably in an Agile environment, from initiation to successful delivery.
• You have good knowledge base of Agile methodologies and have experience in Agile delivery in project context.
• You have experience with project management methodologies (incl. business case, KPI tracking, roadmaps, planning, resourcing, budgeting, etc.).
• You thrive when situations become complex and pressure is high, keeping the helicopter view to maintain control and come up with creative solutions.
• You are experienced or have deep interest in the Outdoor or Retail business, and you are motivated to learn.
• You communicate in a clear and direct manner with simple language. Fluency in English is required.
• You dare to speak up.
• You are a curious mind and keep yourself up to date with the latest developments and trends in Digital, delivery management and retail.
• You always seek opportunities to learn and continuously improve to set a new standard for yourself and your surroundings.
• Prior experience with Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Office would be advantageous.
• You are an enthusiastic team player, who likes to work with people from all backgrounds and walks of life.
