ABOUT THE ROLE

You will lead and coordinate the development of products from concept to delivery, in close collaboration with designers, pattern makers, and suppliers. You ensure that new developments adhere to Tierra's margin requirements in collaboration with the brand manager and make sure the timelines are met. To develop valuable products with a large focus on responsibly and sustainably

WHAT YOU WILL DO

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

• Record all essential information in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system

• Source materials and accessories that meet criteria for price, minimum quantities, quality, and functionality

• Ensure logical and efficient use of suppliers, materials, and accessories through effective team communication

• Stay informed on the latest material innovations, especially in functional and insulation materials

• Remain knowledgeable about relevant regulations related to materials and chemicals

• Oversee and assure quality control across product durability, functionality, quality, and cost

• Develop innovative solutions to enhance functionality, reduce environmental impact, and extend product lifespan

WHO YOU ARE

• Experience from working in product development

• Expertise in apparel development processes from ideation to delivery

• In-depth knowledge of materials and trimmings

• Familiarity with garment construction

• Experience working with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)

• Proactive problem solver with strong decision-making and communication skills to align supplier relations with company goals

• Independent and effective with an eye for detail and a passion for the outdoor lifestyle

• Fluent English in both spoken and written communication
