ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Retail Service Centre Manager you will be there to lead from the front, setting an example to the aspiring and established alike, taking care of your revenue, environment, and people to the highest level you are capable of. You will be solving any issues with the application of ingenuity and lateral thought in a timely manner.'

You are responsible for the optimisation of the stock levels and its visual merchandising, keeping our customers’ interest piqued with a regularly rotated assortment. You will be expected to keep a tight ship, focusing on every aspect of the retail environment to maintain a productive and profitable service centre.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

• Maximise turnover and profitability of the retail environment through ranging, merchandising, and selling of relevant products
• Delivering the best retail experience in the outdoor market
• Plan and rota staffing levels to maintain the highest quality of service and profitability
• Keeping abreast of retail trends and accompanying opportunities
• Maintaining and developing the Trekitt culture amongst your team and customers Ethos and identity is everything to us and we need every customer to know that
• Present and maintain a neat, clean and orderly retail environment
• Liaise with colleagues to plan seasonal assortment and product ranges rotations
• The planning and implementation of department budget, above and below the line, for the up-andcoming year

WHO YOU ARE

• Three years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent teambuilding/ working and interpersonal skills
• A genuine love and passion for the outdoors and whatever you do in it
• An eye for detail
• Experience/ knowledge of Outdoor Industry/ Retail
• The ability to think quick and overcome any issues that might occur
• Strong analytical skills
• Numeracy skills and proficiency using IT (Office Suite)
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask
• Ability to cope with the pressure of having to meet targets and objectives
• Able to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment and achieve targets
• Negotiation skills and the ability to network and influence people
