Isabel’s Trek with Fenix Outdoor

Current Location: Stockholm, Sweden

Hometown: I am lucky enough to call two beautiful towns home as I was born in Gothenburg, Sweden but raised in Melbourne, Australia.

Languages I speak: English and Swedish 

First memory in nature: Moving to Australia at a young age, I remember doing all of the touristy activities when we first arrived! From feeding kangaroos on Phillip Island to exploring the beautiful Dandenong Ranges or running along squeaky beach in Wilson's Promontory, Australia has many beautiful landscapes to explore and animals to admire (or avoid!). 

Why I joined Fenix Outdoor: I am excited to be part of the Fenix Outdoor team as I resonate with their missions of sustainability and enabling all individuals to have unforgettable and inspiring moments outdoors. I am grateful to support an organisation that makes it easier for others to experience the outdoors as I believe the more connected we are to our environment, the better we take care of it.

Favorite part of my job: Being able to connect with such a diverse range of passionate employees and candidates! It is incredibly rewarding being able to introduce them to Fenix Outdoor and excite them about the possibility of working with us.

Favorite Outdoor Activity: Getting outside for a walk in a local park, trail or forest or getting down to the ocean/ lake to see the water, for me there is nothing more beneficial for my health than doing this!
